Georgia
Pipe and Metal’s first priority on every job we undertake
is to perform all work in the safest manner possible. Our supervisors
and employees have been trained to be constantly checking all
equipment, job environments and each other for unsafe practices
or situations. We have established documented daily safety
meetings, during which, a wide spectrum of construction safety
situations are discussed.
All
new employees are instructed in our safety rules and procedures
and receive a copy of Georgia Pipe and Metal’s Safety
Manual. This manual has been developed from the combined
safety manuals of all of our customers. All company vehicles
are equipped with well-stocked first aid kits.
Georgia
Pipe and Metal is a drug-free workplace.
All
of us at Georgia Pipe realize that we work in a potentially
dangerous line of work and we constantly strive to keep
the danger to the minimum attainable risk.
